THAT. I was there getting a quote. He had some guys fully wrapping an R8. Shit was flawless. I think he might be a touch more than competitors, but in this case, I feel you get what you pay for.

I've heard bad things about wrapping from guys who paint of course. They say after you take it off it messes up your clear coat.

It depends on how old the paint is and if its original or not. Sometimes, if its a resprayed panel and the painter doesnt spray it right, issues will arise. Otherwise, most dont have an issue.

would say it more likely depends on the application method and vinyl used

I've seen a car with 3m vinyl that removed the clear coat off a gas cap on an a4

and also depending on how long it's been on the car as well
