is there a way to lock the center armrest in the SQ5 to stop the forward slide?

The center armrest in pretty loose and moves forward and backward very easy. I would love to be able to lock it in the most rear position.

    Thanks.

I used 2 Phillips self tapping screws that were about 1/4" long near the rear of the armrest and screwed them thru the underside. It locked the armrest in place and now it no longer slides forward. You can also remove the screws down the road with little to no sign of them being there.

We just traded in our Q5 (first Audi) a great vehicle and problem free. The center sliding armrest is one of the few niggles with the car. What a pita, especially with people in each of the front seats. Good concept, but bad design.

Thank you sir. This did the trick. Very clean and did the exact job I needed.
