2010 fuel pump issue, newer version?

Hey guys, just installed a new fuel pump, easy no problem only one big issue.
I noticed on the new fuel pump part number 8K0919051G, it has a different slightly different design.
The top of the pump has 2 male outlets, one to connect the fuel hose and the other acts like a vent???
The problem I am having is fuel is coming out of the other male outlet pipe when I drive?

Just for reference, on the old pump the other male outlet is solid on the inside, no fuel can exit out?

I have referenced all the part #'s and it is correct for a 2010 avant Quattro....

Is there a cap or is there some updated connector that attaches to that area?

ECS has a good picture of the newer pump with the small vent line- https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B8_A4...ump/ES1271202/
Pictures 5 and 7 show the vent line.
My existing pump does not have this line??

Any help would be great, thanks fellas!

Here is the part needed for the other mail output to hold the fuel in-

For those of you who may need to do an in tank fuel pump you will need this so it doesn't spill fuel out. I need to find a better parts catalog as none of the big players list this part in conjunction with the fuel pump and it's a very important piece, should honestly be preinstalled on the fuel pump.....,
