Rs4 b7 2007 holding back

Hi wounded if some one can help or shed some light my rs4 seems to be holding bk on acceleration a bit like a stuck turbo it's like it wants to burst into life but restricted some how ?

I think I'm having the same issue it feels. Pretty much pointing to the secondary air pump

It's strange I thought it might be the carbon build up prob but just not sure it's a shame that sutch a bulletproof engine heald bk by some silly issue some one on here must no the reason why?

Does ur car shake at cold start up idle?

I think so and lumpy idling and a bit of smoke on start up its done 70k full dealer history

I don't know what to say about the black smoke. That makes me think it's burning oil. The lumpy idle I've learned is the SAI pump.

Maybe stupid question but have u atleast checked ur air filter? I know u said everything is serviced at Audi but doesn't take much to have a look yr self

Check for carbon build up on intake valves
