Machining k03 exhaust housing to fit F21

    Hello,

I am purchasing a f21 without an exhaust housing for the turbo. The seller is throwing in a k03 housing. I have looked everywhere and can't find the exact numbers I will need to take it to a machine shop. Would it be best to just show up with the turbo and the housing and have them figure out what needs to come off to fit the wheel? Any input is appreciated! Haven't dealt with any machine shops so also wondering how much this would cost?

I did this for my car. I just used a carbide bit and opened the housing slowly while constantly checking fitment. Any decent machine shop should be able to do it for you but expect to pay a couple hundred $$ to have it done.

Well getting the FT fell through so I am looking at other options. My question is what is the difference between buying the f21 vs sending my k03 to gpop shop to have them perform a k03/k04 hybrid upgrade for much cheaper?

    Cost is probably similar.

They quoted me 550 to send in my k03 and convert it.
