What are the hard numbers for performance for the coilpack 2.0 conversion? I need new coil packs so I was just going to change them. Pros and cons?

    pros:
50hp gain from what I've heard.
Admiration of lots beautiful women due to having such a studly car.
    cons:
    They stick out further.
Getting hassled by your local pigs due to the increased engine performance.

    lulz

OP, the 2.0 coilpacks are simply a redesigned part from Audi. If you need new coils go with the newest revision (same thing with any part/sensor for that matter).

The purpose of the 2.0 coilpack is to open up the sparkplug gap FYI, so along with new coils you will need plugs. Lots of threads out there about which plugs are 'best' and what to gap them to.

I don't think anyone would change coils and plugs just to dyno, definitely a waste of dyno time and money.

Woah 15 whp 15 wtq. You sold me fletcher im going to buy some lol. If you have access to a dyno to try these types of things awesome. For the average Joe dyno time is going to be rather expensive and I couldn't justify the price to just see. I think I would just throw them in when doing a tune up anways. Very interesting though, thanks for sharing.
