We have left just enough clearance between the factory housing and our TruFlo turbo muffler delete to accommodate any variance/inconsistencies within the factory turbo housing. When our TMD is used in conjunction with the supplied square O-ring, it will create a perfect seal every time!

Ive just looked at what needs to be removed to fit one to mine and found that the short flexible hose that fits directly to the turbo muffler delete and then to the turbo outlet pipe is very oily underneath - what can the cause of this be ? - I'm guessing that it's not normal.

Some oil will always leak through the center cartridge and into the turbo and ultimately making its way into the charge system, this is normal.

This product doesn't increase performance by adding horsepower to your car, we are not making a significant change by increasing boost or lowering intake temps. This product lifts the performance restriction posed by of the factory turbo muffler, which cause turbulence right as pressurized air exits the compressor housing. The performance benefits are mainly realized during on and off throttle scenarios, where the turbo stops producing boost and has to once again pressurize the charge system rapidly.

Optimal air flow characteristic is certainly achieved with our TruFlo Turbo muffler delete for peak performance.
