    S7 Lowering Via OTIS

Heres a pic of my dealer lowering my S7 via OTIS. Charged me $150.00 I lowered it about 2 inches from stock dynamic height when all was said and done.

We laid it on its nuts while tampering with the settings... enjoy.

Wow that's low. How does it ride?

I had them raise it right above the fenders after I snapped the pic. I do feel a slight difference considering they lowered it about 2" from stock but it's worth it since most of my driving is within the city. Can't beat $150 for a stock lowering done right.

Wow! What is OTIS exactly, have not seen that referenced before? I assume it is simply using the factory computer like VAGCOM

I can attest to how much better a lowered car on air suspension rides vs lowered on traditional suspension. My previous c7 a6 was on coilovers, pretty low, and the wife hated to ride with me, thought it was too harsh. Now on my s6 lowered on links (not quite as low as the coilovers) and the wife can't tell a difference from stock

Correct. From my understanding OTIS is Audis current software. By all means it still rides great but there is a just the slightest difference.

I was shocked when I asked my service rep about lowering the vehicle. I informed them that other dealers were doing the same (guessing) and if they had ever done it before. His response was he's never done it for anyone in the past but the maintenance manager said he could do it just didn't know how low he could get the system to drop it. I'm very happy with the results. Not only are they willing to bend the rules a little bit with the drop but they are also tune friendly out here in Fresno.

This is pretty awesome, I need to lower my Q7. I wonder if they will do it for me....will also have them do it for my S6. Thanks for the tip OP.
