I've got both a LH and RH good condition RS6 intercoolers that I bought a while back for $350. I had planned on putting them on my 2.7T but am selling my car now and have no need for them.
These intercoolers will come with caps, couplers, and nipples to leak test them. It is very common(inevitable) for these intercoolers to develop leaks where the end tanks meet the core. There are a few DIY tutorials online to use a lightweight epoxy to fill these small pinholes. These intercoolers do have small leaks. You can use the supplied leak test equipment to submerge them in water and mark the leaks. Then you apply a light amount of epoxy to seal the holes. A pro-tip would be to use a cheap hand vacuum pump to apply a slight negative pressure on the inside to draw the epoxy into the holes. However, that last step isn't necessary per other DIYs.
Price is $350 shipped. Pretty good deal for a cost effective upgrade! I will post some pictures soon.
