Hello fellas, so i recently hit 50k miles on my car and decided to do a spark plug change on my 4.2L audi s5. Upon removing the first plug it was extremely tight, my brother was doing the install since i was installing a new air filter at the same time and he couldnt get it out. He tried a lower one and the same. Kept turning and the spark plug completely broke in half. Yes the threads were stuck in the heads which left me completely fucked and clueless. These are suppose to be torqued down to 27ft-ld which im sure they werent last time they were taken out by my audi dealership. To get the threads out we have to use an ez-out extractor and a magnet to pick out some metal shavings trying inside the block trying to rig the threads out. Moral of the story, be careful who works on your car...
