Loud noise

My 01 audi 1.8t quattro use to have a caliper problem making the rotor heat up alot. One day i pulled out of the school parking lot with a loud nasty noise. I had to park it for a while then I got the caliper replaced. Nothing has changed, i think it has something to do with the U Joint. Need help

Sounds like power steering pump is on its way out, or the rack is bad causing extra strain on the pump...either way that howling definitely sounds like it's coming from the power steering.
