New to the A4 world and have a question about front pads.

Just picked up my Akebono pads but there is only one wear sensor in the box. I would expect a sensor per wheel and one is missing. Can anybody confirm before I call the autostore?

    Thanks

Only the drivers side has the wear sensor.

Like he said. The front drivers side and we have all had the same question man. You'd think they would all have them but in reality the front is used more than the rear so they wear faster. They also wear evenly so only one would be needed and saves the manufacturer money since they only route one wire for the sensor.

Thanks for the info and fast replies. My older A6 has sensors on both fronts and I was questioning the single even though it makes sense if everything is working correctly.

I've seen most manufacturers do 2 fronts until this car. You're all set though man. The rears are the tricky part, hope you have a VCDS cable.

I do have VCDS but only doing fronts. Just picked the A4 about 2 months ago and all brakes look good except the fronts are warped. Not sure what rotors they are but they look new with no lip on edge. I figured best to just change all when in doubt.
