    AC Issue

I've had this issue for a couple of years now with the AC when I come to a stop for longer than 30 seconds. I'll feel the engine kind of shudder for a second and then immediately after the AC will stop blowing cold air. Once I start driving again, it will take 5-10 seconds for it to start blowing cold air again.

I went to the dealer years ago about weak AC, but I don't recall the engine ever shuddering like it does now. The techs said there was a leak in one of the lines so they replaced it and recharged the refrigerant. It was fine after that for some time.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I tried searching but came up short.

    Thanks.

I get the engine shudder but the a/c stays cool. I've noticed my boost/vacuum gauge reading bouncing all over when the shudder happens. Not sure what the cause is either. Very strsnge, I too thought maybe my refridgerent was low. Had it checked and even tho the level was fine still had it replaced. Made no change. Issue still stands. What your guys vacuum reading with the a/c on?? I notice the shudder happens when the car has a low vacuum reading. -10 when it should be -16 to -20

Not sure if it's similar issue, but I just picked up my a4 for stage 2 oil repair and now ac only blow cold air when gassing. Since I'm out of warranty I don't know whats going to happen.
