Trouble disabling traction control

Every so often, typically if the car has been parked for a while (1 week+) I will have trouble turning off traction control. I will press and hold the button, but as soon as I release, the indicator disappears.

Is this a common occurrence? Any fixes?

mine was flashing yesterday when i tried to turn it off.. had to turn off the car and restart it then hold it for 5 seconds and it went off for good

Mine does that every once in awhile. If I turn off the car and restart I can turn off TC no problem.

ironically, I have been struggling with mine for 4-5 days. As soon as I posted this yesterday...no issues. AZ, you miracle worker.
