So I have a system from my old car and i was wondering if anyone else could post some pictures of where they mounted the control module. The display module is going to be located in the rear view mirror. I was thinking about putting it in the compartment that slides open and shut but felt the space was so big it would take away from other items i would want to place in there. Figured I see where you guys have mounted yours. Thanks!

I'm planning on getting one very soon and having it installed professionally - I was going to use the Mid-City Engineering integration unit. Do you have that? I've heard good things about it

I've heard of it but I don't like losing the functionality of the cluster because you have to keep it on audio to see the bands. I have it mounted in my rear view mirror. I was talking about the control module that has the mute button and other settings

ALP supports quite a few units and they do a Bluetooth system so that your phone controls the system. Radenso also have the HD+ and their controller comes out very soon too. Much better systems than anything currently on the market. I think the ALP controller can also be done it away that no wires have to penetrate the firewall and Installation is much easier that way.

Remove the ashtray and mount it there. With the cover closed its completely stealth.
