B8.5 AWE Touring Exhaust (90mm tips) (Catback only)

I am selling my B8.5 AWE touring exhaust with 90mm tips, which has been on the car for 4 months. The tips are in perfect condition since I've been sealing them with Klasse, which makes cleaning super fast. Anyway, I can only sell this locally in the Maryland/Anne Arundel County area and will need to swap for your stock B8.5 exhaust. There are plenty of exhaust shops available in the area to do the swap.

The price will be $800 for the AWE exhaust+your stock exhaust+cost of swap which should be a fair deal. Send me a PM.

I just wanted to clarify that it will be $800 plus whatever the cost of the exhaust swap is between the cars. I had some people ask me this question and don't want people to assume anything incorrectly.

We are looking around for good places around Annapolis/Baltimore/Maryland to perform the swap. Induktion is close, but they're closed on weekends and I'd rather avoid paying $110/hr if possible.

Any recommendations on good local shops or some fellow AZ'er with access to a lift? Thanks in advance guys.

There definitely will have to be a lift used. I typically change out exhausts myself, but when I was under the car I literally laughed and immediately emailed Induktion.

Blame it on me being cheap but I honestly enjoy doing the labor myself - especially when it comes to performance parts. Makes the mod much more rewarding.

I typically install exhausts myself too but after taking a peek at our exhaust complexity today I couldn't agree more about paying someone to do it!

That's why every B8 S4 owner buys this exhaust. Great deal! How much did you wind up having to pay them in labor?

Induktion recommended two new exhaust clamps to ensure a complete seal(is this common practice?), total price for the swap including clamps was $286.

I did noticed a pretty strong smell of what seemed to be burning oil emanating from around my car shortly after the install - coming from the sides of the car. No smell from engine bay or out exhaust tips so I concluded it must have been some lubricant they used to aid installation.

I believe that was a fair price. I you got an AWE exhaust + install 1086 out the door. I'm glad that Ed ordered the clamps because it would have been worse if the install was delayed due to worn out clamps. We only needed two clamps since my clamps were brand new still since they never saw rain in the time I had my exhaust.

Definitely a fair price thanks again. Exhaust clamps are pretty common so I'm sure he didn't have to look around too hard to get them brought over from the other local shop.
