Neeed help to reset mileage of my B5 S4 cluster

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Like to check with fellow members if know or can refer me to someone with a VAG-COM to re-adjust the mileage of a B5-S4 cluster I have just acquired over the weekend.
My S4 has only 110,600 and this one is over 250K.
Thanks in advance and much appreciated.

Pretty sure it can't be done, I have a vag-com and know it doesn't do that. Also I bought a used cluster because I wanted to change to the white gauges it had, Audi refused to install it and said they can't be changed once they are used since info is burnt into them. So I had to take clusters apart and just change dials and needles

Thanks Scott 1961 for your reply. Someone has suggested to just switch the eprom chip will do. Maybe I'll just take a photo with date before I taken out the original cluster to use as proof
in future or send my old one to do a display replacement. Lol and things we wouldn't do with our toy. Best

If you get the eprom reset you can set the millage in vag com. The mileage has to be below 65 (I think) miles to change it.
