Rs7 mats

New mats for my RS7 The black turned out a deeper than the factory color and the red is a little brighter than I expected. Im not sure what I think about them.

Curious to hear your thoughts good/bad?

I think they look great but you are right, they don't really match. However it looks like you used flash with the pic so it probably threw off the way they actually look like in real life.

No OEM are blank, same mats as the A7. These are custom, but the mat company I bought them from didn't match up the black very well.

dj you are correct it's closer in person, but you can still tell they are two different colors of black.

Nice, but couldn't live with the lack of colour match. How much were they? Even though they are custom if you are not happy they should replace them

They look good - keep them.

The mat is in the correct color that you ordered...if you ordered them in black.

In order to match the carpet of the car perfectly.....you needed to order the mat in anthracite and not in black.

I made the same mistake when I ordered mine for my RS7...but the black is pretty darn close to the carpet that I just left them as is.

BTW...I think they look nice so I would just leave them.

Yes all RS7's interior carpet is "Black" by default, unless you order something from Audi Exclusive.

But to match the custom mat to the "black" Audi RS7 carpet you would need to order the mat in anthracite or else the black mat would be too dark...as in the photos above.

Got it. I have set from them for my RS5, I just ordered a set and hoping they can change the carpet color still

Haha I ordered off a picture on the forum, might have been your mats actually. Ordered from autostyle.co.uk Didn't realize their "black" wasn't the same as the Audi's. The stitching they did is is top notch, and the carpet is good quality, just wish it was the same color. Is the anthracite an exact match or is it actually a hair lighter?

I don't know if it's the flash but to me they clash badly with the carpet... I think the anthracite with that red outline would look primo..

Yes...The camera flash makes the shades even more dissimilar.

My car has dark window tint so one can barely notice any difference between the carpet and mat shades during the day.

And at night, the mat & carpet look equally black.

You can only tell there's a difference when it's a bright sunny day with no window tint....or taking a flash photo.

I can't comment on if its an exact match (since I didn't order one)....but anthracite would be very similar to the "black" carpet.

Maybe someone on this forum who ordered the anthracite color mat can comment.

I ordered anthracite as well, they look fine in 99% of lighting, you can see them in my gallery.

I ordered a custom set in off black w/ red piping, but was not happy...Ordered these from Audi de, they are perfect! no Model Logos or badges...I think it's overkill IMO BTW, this is the interior of my 2012 A7 premium plus.

these are the autostyles mats in anthracite when i had them in my S4. slight mismatch in certain lighting but in person spot on
