Suggestions for Seat Color & Trim for 2017 Monsoon or Manhattan Gray Audi A4

Hi, I am in the market for a new car and am considering a 2017 Monsoon or Manhattan Gray A4, but still uncertain of the seat color and interior trim. I think the black, rock gray, or nougat brown seats would look good, but just wanted to see what others on this forum had decided on. In addition, I am uncertain of the trim, but am considering the aluminum ellipse or gray oak, so just wanted to see what others went with as well. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

My B9 is Manhattan Gray. I went with the black leather. Mine has the Sport Package and I thought the seats looked great in black. My last car had aluminum trim and I was needing a switch so I got the gloss walnut this time around. The oak looks really nice too though, very unique.

Here's a couple pics of mine.

Thanks for sharing those interior photos. I must say that the gloss oak trim actually looks very good with the black seats, even better than I expected. I think it makes the car look even more upscale and expensive-looking. I don't think this trim would look good with the rock gray or nougat brown seats, however. I think the aluminum trim would look good with the either rock gray or black seats and the gray oak trim would look good with the nougat brown or black seats.

I got Manhattan grey with grey oak trim and nougat brown perferated seats, it looks great. Go check out the oak trim in person, it was the only trim option I would accept after seeing the options up close.

Hi MuffinMan_DL, thanks for the input. While I do plan on checking out the different interiors in person, do you have any interior pics to share?

I prefer black & black because I love how black looks with chrome and I like dark interiors. As far as trims, in my opinion walnut looks the most luxurious, aluminum is more sporty, and oak is a nice mix of the two.

Monsoon with Gray/Black (sport seats) and oak trim, here. Went with Monsoon because I love the shade of gray and easier to keep clean. The Gray/Black interior provides a nice contrast and the natural oak is non-reflective. Had to have black headliner, too. Couldn't be more happy.

MuffinMan_DL, thanks for the pics. It looks like a pretty nice color combo. The gray oak trim looks more grayish in your photos even though I read that it is more brownish in color. BTW, can you take a panned out view of the interior with both seats and the dashboard/console?

My grey oak trim is definitely grey, no brown in it at all, even next to brown seats it looks grey. That texture look is actually 3D too, which adds some character

Thanks for the panned out view. That gives me a better perspective of the color combo. I imagine that the aluminium trim would also look nice with those seats and make it look modern/sporty. However, I am sure that the aluminum trim attracts more heat from the sun than the dark oak trim. Anyway, those photos were helpful. It gives me something to think about before I go to the dealership for a test drive.
