    Seized Tranny Mount Bolt

The allroad is currently on jack stands as I'm replacing my original transmission mounts with the 034 mounts. Got the two bottom bolts out fine , but the top 17mm bolt WILL NOT budge! I've got the tires off on the front for better access and view. Any ideas? Please help!
    Thanks in advance

Tried PB Blaster? That's just about the only penetrating oil that truly works. If that doesn't work, drill through the bolt.

try jacking up the transmission slightly to take the weight off the mount. I just did mine this past weekend. I used a low profile ratchet/socket with a cheater bar for an extension to break the top bolts loose.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up using 'bolt outs' and it came right out. I'm not sure if everyone does it, but taking off the wheels and going in that way is so much easier.
More importantly.... I can FINALLY get smooth shifts with no dreaded clunk. The difference in the drive is night and day. Thanks 034 for the quality mounts!

Sounds tempting, this time I'd stay away from Corteco mounts
