Unfortunately, this happened. http://imgur.com/a/tjFTr
Body shop replaced the passenger side rear external quarter panel, and wheelhouse liner. I know replacing that quarter panel is a pretty invasive process with lots of welding.
I was told there was also damage to the "inner" quarter panel, which they were able to reshape/repair.
I get the car back, and the paint looks good, it seems like they did a good job. Except the part of the panel that flares out over the wheel is noticeably more flared than the undamaged side.
Undamaged, regular amount of spacing: http://imgur.com/thAyvTx.jpg
Repaired side, which sticks out a lot more. http://i.imgur.com/M6KqZlu.jpg
Here is a poorly shot video attempting to show it in a different way.
What's going on here? What are things the body shop may have done wrong? What should I tell them when I bring it back this week? Do you think the replacement quarter panel is the wrong shape and they need to start over, or can this be adjusted? Thank you for any input.
