2008 A4 Sedan Body Repair Gone Awry. Any Input Much Appreciated.

    Unfortunately, this happened. http://imgur.com/a/tjFTr

Body shop replaced the passenger side rear external quarter panel, and wheelhouse liner. I know replacing that quarter panel is a pretty invasive process with lots of welding.
I was told there was also damage to the "inner" quarter panel, which they were able to reshape/repair.

I get the car back, and the paint looks good, it seems like they did a good job. Except the part of the panel that flares out over the wheel is noticeably more flared than the undamaged side.

Undamaged, regular amount of spacing: http://imgur.com/thAyvTx.jpg

Repaired side, which sticks out a lot more. http://i.imgur.com/M6KqZlu.jpg

Here is a poorly shot video attempting to show it in a different way.

What's going on here? What are things the body shop may have done wrong? What should I tell them when I bring it back this week? Do you think the replacement quarter panel is the wrong shape and they need to start over, or can this be adjusted? Thank you for any input.

Check your alignment first, maybe your rear wheel is crocked

Id be willing to bet it's the subframe. There have been a lot of people on here talking about how their wheels on their driver side stick out just a little more than on the passenger side, which is inline with what you're saying. My A4 also has a slightly misaligned subframe, probably a similar amount to your discrepancy as well. I wouldn't worry about it to much

More pictures. It looks like the shape of the flare is different?

If it matches the shape of the door, rear bumper, and trunk lid it's not the fender that's messed up. As mentioned above, it's probably a misaligned subframe.
