    Passenger Airbag Light

So i've had the care for a little 3 months. I absolutely love it. I live in miami so i treasure the difference in performance when the temp drops below 80. Anyway I've been having some trouble with the passenger airbag. For frame of reference i upgraded from a 2010 honda accord. With my accord if i put something heavy on the seat my laptop bag, groceries etc it would register that the airbag was active. On my audi simply throwing my iphone on there alot of times will make it think theres someone sitting there. Is this common? I hate going in for service, wondering if anyone else has had similar issues.

    Thanks guys

I am not sure about the passenger airbag issue as I have not experienced it. But, to alleviate the HP loss due to heat, get an intercooler.

I'm not so sure its weight related, I think its the phones magnetic field or RF output tricking the sensor. But yes its common.

My Jetta did this, but only when I had it plugged into the charger...

I haven't noticed yet with the S3 because I just picked it up yesterday...

The system that detects a passenger, looks for the electrical charge of a persons body. The old systems used a pressure mat. Most manufactures are going this direction. I think the biggest advantage is reduced chance of activation when some rocket scientist installs a baby seat in the front.
