Carbon Clean service providers in Chicago area

    Hey folks,

So intertwined with my Cleveland saga from this week, the RS is finally throwing the P1923 (carbon) code. Looks like a clean is in my immediate future. Can anyone suggest a good place to go to get this done that won't break the bank?

German Auto Pros had quoted me 500-600 for the service (which I couldn't have done in Cleveland because of my schedule). I've been quoted 1200 by Rennology near me in the suburbs...

Any suggestions of a place with pricing closer to the former than the latter?

    Thank you for the help.

Hey man! I'm in the same boat with my RS4 and was quoted at $650 at dynarev in Mundelein IL. They get a lot of praise on here and I'm going to make an appointment soon. Was also quoted at $1200-1500 at Rennology and Chicago performance and Tuning quoted me at over $2000! Does anyone know any other shops that do Carbon cleaning in the Chicago area?

What specifically do they include in the carbon clean? (So I can check the next time I do mine)

Well Dynarev just quoted me about $720 for a carbon clean. All day affair and they use walnut shells, etc.
