    2017 Premium Plus
    Sport Package
    Tech Package
    First Edition

Very close to getting a Prestige, but couldn't swing it in the timeframe I had, and figured I could do without some of the features.

The first edition was pretty nice though. Flat-bottomed wheel I could take or leave, but the ventilated seats were nice, and I love the wheels.
Tech package, the virtual cockpit is neat, but not mind blowing. The lane assist was big for me.

Took the car to my buddies at Eurotech with under 200 miles on the car and had them do a full eXpel treatment, so now that white paint will stay scrape free during my daily drives to work in NYC. And, while I was on the fence, I said why not, and had them do a 50% tint on the windows. It looks awesome on this car!

Thanks. The seats are nice...just not broken in yet! But the ventilated seats...never had before, but I don't think i could ever do without!

I really like the sport wheels.

    Thanks all.

I think this is the first time I'm actually sitting reading the manual...too many things going on!

I finally think I'm good with the daily driving, and I've been through all of the settings, but I feel like I might be missing stuff that the manual will share....

Looks great. I have yet to put a front plate on my 17 A4, I got the filler piece. I won't put on a front plate unless I end up getting a ticket - which just may happen. On many cars, with nice grills like the A4 as well as the Macan, the US front plates very much destroy that smooth, sleek, aggressive look. I wish the US had adapted or would allow us the option of those longer, lower European plates.

Unfortunately I always put on front plates. It does kill the look of the car, but it's not worth getting a ticket IMHO. I wish I lived in a differen state that didn't require them :)

Besides, it gives me somewhere to bolt on my EZ Pass :)

Maybe its your angles, but your B9 looks especially sporty compared to others. Could be the sports package.

Thank you! I'm thinking it's the sports package and the first edition wheels. They kind of work pretty well together I think!

I rarely like white cars, but yours looks great in that color... and I also think the wheels go great with the sporty character of the car. Congrats!

So I assume that the First Edition package is still available on the Premium Plus models? I cannot seem to find that package on the Premium Plus configurator. It appears that this package gets you the warm seat package with the ventilated seats, which is currently only offered with the Prestige models; however, I assume that you cannot get the safety features offered in the Prestige models, correct? I do like these special wheels as it makes the car even more sporty, in my opinion.

Thanks for the link, but I don't like those off center plates. I'll wait until my first ticket and bite the bullet and mount it on the grill. To make it even worse, the light yellow NJ plates are less than attractive in themselves.

Yeah, I really hate having to use a front plate. In NY we have those hideous new "gold" plates. Thank god I still have the old white one.

I hear you on that. I'm not crazy about them either but didn't really want to give the NYPD any reason to pull me over by running no front plate. What is nice about them is that when you see a tow hook mounted front plate it's usually on an enthusiasts car. So easier to identify other enthusiasts while on the road.

Nope, unless you can find one sitting on the lot. They only made so many of the First Edition Pkg cars. I had a choice, either, get the nice wheels, or first edition. I picked first edition, bc I have a set of wheels ready to put on.

If you want a first edition you either have to get one that is sitting on the lot or customize one to be ordered. Just went into my Audi dealer and they are still ordering First Editions. I think I might wait till the S4 though so I'm still deciding.

So the First Edition model includes the Warm Weather package with the ventilated seats (currently offered on the Prestige model), correct? Also, can you get the Driver Assistance package (currently offered with the Prestige model) on the First Edition model?

I heard that they only made 1200 first editions, but that was third-hand. I don't know if you can still order them, or if you need to find one that your dealer can make a trade with...

The first edition includes the warm weather package EXCEPT the rear shades.
You can't get the driver assistance package on anything except the Prestige. Which is a bummer because I wanted it. But I'm pretty happy with what I got!

Nope the driver assistance is exclusive to Prestige model not First Edition.

I took delivery of the exact same vehicle on August 1 here in S Florida. The OP has great pictures posted. They really capture the nice look of the car. I was and still am not sure if the First edition package automatically means that it was a very early build of the model.

In any event the FE package is a great back door way to get the ventilated seats (an absolute necessity here in S FL this time of the year) without having to go to the Prestige line. I can live without the back door shades.. I like the FE wheels better as well. The combo of the wheels and the sport package really does give the car a sporty look especially for a vehicle that the main critic's knock was exterior styling.

Damn how the hell did you get the flat bottom steering wheel? I went over and over the options looking but didn't see that as a possibility. I got the s-line package, sport package and 19" wheel upgrade. I would've thought a sporty flat bottom wheel would come with one of those packages.

Front plate is required in Texas, they don't allow front plates in the windshield. Has to be permanently fastened to the front of the car. I choose to run no front plate and risk the fix it ticket.

Part of the "first edition" package. I was more after the wheels and the ventilated seats, but I can dig the wheel too!

Nice! But how come they didn't give you the sporty rims when you ordered the Sport Package????
