Been here a while now, about time to show my car.
Always wanted one since they were introduced, finally in the financial position to maintain one
Problem was/is I moved from the Netherlands to aruba 5 years ago and there are no s4's on the Island (not even an official audi dealer)
Importing these without inspecting them in person is pretty stupid especially in a country where there are no parts available,
so against everyone's advice, I still did it. Ordering parts in US is a bitch, but not my only car, so
Took me about a year to find a low mileage one. In US it was pretty impossible to find a low mileage one.
In Aruba you see a lot of Japanese imports, and for low mileage cars I was recommended a trustworthy car export company in Japan by a friend.
Never thought to look there because I didnt want a RHD car, untill I discovered they also have LHD cars in Japan.
I immediately found one with 73000 km (45000 miles) for 5800 usd and decided to pull the trigger. Fully prepared for something to be wrong with it,
I received a car as mint as a 10 years old car can be. already put 2500 miles on it, have heard start up rattle less then 10 times, and not even half a second.
Exceeded all my expectations.
Tiptronic which was almost a deal breaker, but now it really doesnt bother me at all ,Not the color I wanted, unpainted door blades which I dont like, and the aftermarket soundsystem is japanese. 17 inch audi wheels which I have replaced. With 18 VMR (I know cheapo, but I like the looks, and international shipping and import makes cheapo still not so cheapo)
Pics from seller and a pic with VMR, I want It lower but I already Hit a rock that did some radiator damage so I dont thing it's gonna happen.
Looks so bad on 17's lol
I can safely say it's the cleanest S4 B6 in Aruba, because well.. the only S4b6 in Aruba
