    New battery recommendation

    My battery is vw part # 000 915 105 DH
    Volkswagen original battery
    Enertec zet mx 550616RA
    0193811 and 3612 are imprinted in the plastic of the battery, not sure what that means.

    Is this battery fillable?

    The new centrifugal cell batteries are the best correct?

    Each of the six fill holes accepted about 10 ounces of water. We'll see how the battery does , I'll test it a little bit.

    There was a lower and an upper orifice inside the fill holes. I filled it to the uppers.

    Just installed a new battery. Walmart EverMax H7 94R $160. These are made by Johnson Controls.

    I went to Walmart in Great Falls Montana and bought an Everstart h8 which has 900-1000 cold cranking amps. It cost $111 after 12 core. The H6 cost 118 and for some odd reason the H7 cost 150. I think I scored pretty good, the warranty is 5 years, the first two years are free replacement and the last three are pro rata. I want a fancy AGM battery but in this neck of the woods you're lucky to get anything special. Interstate has a store here and the battery would have cost close to three hundred and probably would not have fit. So I just got a good deal on a lead h2o acid. The h8 fits very well without any modification, the screw down clamp also works perfectly.
