    What Tint Looks Best

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey All,

I got a 2013 S4 a few weeks back. The tiring is extremely light barely even noticeable.

What are you guys using that looks good on a S4 and provides good protection.

    Pics would be great.

    Thanks

    What Tint Looks Best

I have 25 on my B7 and love it. Dark enough that it looks good, light enough that it looks legal (35 is the limit in my state).

I also have a 5% sunstrip and it helps bring the look together

We put ceramic on the Allroad and i like it. Might go that route also on the S4, helps keep heat down.

I have huper optik 30 all-around. Keeps the heat out when it gets super hot in LA and has high visibility at night, might not be worth the asking price in a mild climate like Denver though.

Mine came with this tint so can't say %, but I think it is just right. Have never been questioned about it.

My .2 cents, for me its all personal. My Avant is tinted about 20% all around. Reason, I just wanted a little additional cooling here in LA Calif. I don't want to attract attention and have a ticket happy CHP officer ticket me just because they can..
I've experienced a few that will simply stop and ticket you even for a lighter tint than the 20%...just to be an A --e....which ends up to be a fix it ticket and a cost of retint a few months later.

That looks nice do you have a tint on the full windshield? Looks like there may be a little tint on it.

Nope, just then sunstrip at the top. The black interior makes it look a little darker sometimes though

When I bought my B7, it already had 5% all around, with a sun strip on the windshield. All black interior makes it look dark in the car as well. Just be cognizant of the kind of tint you use. Just because it's dark, doesn't mean it's offering protection. [I'm sure you're aware, but for those who may be reading and uninitiated, there is a difference.] I'm having trouble posting pics, but I can always send one PM or email if it's a huge deal.
