Hello everyone, just purchased my first audi; a 2013 audi s6. which was hit in the driver side front suspension. a bit of a fixer upper, but hopefully it works out :). Here is a pic of the damage, it looks pretty bad, the car is actually lowered all the way in the front. Would that bent piece be the lower control arm?

One other part i need is the rear bumper. Is the s6 rear bumper interchangeable with the a6?

    thanks

I believe the A6 Prestige/S-Line will accept the S6 bumper, so presumably the reverse is true. That said, I have found some of the panels to be surprisingly inexpensive in the grand scheme of things. You could probably get the entire rear bumper and valence for about $1k unpainted from ECS Tuning. That does appear to be a front lower control arm. Approx $500 or so for a new one.

Based on your picture that would appear to be the rear lower control arm. The part number you found does appear to be the correct number for that control arm on the drivers side (left). Audionlineparts.com has it for $444.80.

thanks, i just took it out and based on the part number had on it (4G0407695) it is the lower left wishbone? Based on the audi diagram it looks like the same part but it has a different part number. i can't tell either or, but it has a $300 difference.

I just performed a search of 2 Audi online parts web sites and came up empty using that part number. Interesting.....
I had called the part the lower control arm but it really the lower link, according to the name in the database I'm reading.
