Bought this last month and installed. I love it, but it's proving to be a bit too loud. Thinking 034 silicon tube and awe filter with stock air box might be better flavor for me.

Anyone interested in purchasing in NJ? I don't really want to ship it.

I think $450 is fair, it's got 300 miles on it.

The SC sound is loud. I would say over powering not high pitch. Only when you are on it though.

Still on the car. I'm having a love hate relationship with it.

Bought a silicone inlet from ECS thinking it would work, but I can't get the heat shield aligned with it. Thinking of going back to stock air box and removing the whole thing.

Will update here if I decide to sell it.

The sound of the supercharger is great but I have a weird high pitched metallic rasp in mine under mid throttle application. I drive a lot in comfort mode because dynamic makes my kids queasy, and it's way more pronounced.

I thought it was the natural filter sound, or just the filter sound amplified by the carbon fiber inlet because of its reflective acoustic properties. Now I'm not sure if it's actually my throttle body. The flap has some damage and I think it might be a little loose. I've been waiting for apr to release theirs so i can make the swap and see if it goes away.

I just installed mine a week ago and loving it! It's definitely noticeable, but not too loud at all. Mine has no metallic rasp whatsoever. In fact, the supercharger whine is smooth as silk. On light throttle, it gives a slight whisper. On heavier throttle, the sound spools up quickly and screams (in a good way). I'm totaling happy with both the high-end OEM look and the sound is addicting.

I was nervous about mine being too loud also but it really isn't obnoxious. Keep in mind I won't even put an exhaust on my car because I don't want it to stand out too much/attract too much attention.
