Rear glass change?

Hey guys, anybody replaced the rear glass on our cars? I'm rebuilding a car I got cheap for a friend but the back glass is shattered. It's prefacelift 99, and I have a 97 parts car with good glass. Just wondering if anybody has done and can shed some light before I jump in blind. I was able to get one peice of the side trim off of the car with bad glass, but not without touching the glass, the other side wouldn't budge, so taking them off of the good glass car is going to be scary. And the top trim the glass is slotted into, correct? TIA

I dont think they heat up the seams at the window shop during removal but who knows. I know you need your trim removal tools to make the job easier.
