    Coolant Leak

i have 2001 audi a4 1.8t AWM. i recently had an issue with my coolant and oil mixing! did some research and found the oil cooler to be the culprit! i fixed that and replaced my expansion tank also, because the oil stained it! everything was flushed multiple times even with the car running so that issue is no longer! When i got everything back together i noticed a small leak coming from my passenger side near the exhaust/control arm area! iv tried tracing it back but cant seem to find the problem! coolant flange, seals and temp sensor are new, as with the heater core return, upper radiator, and lower radiator hoses. Its a slow leak that only happens when im at running temp and pressurized! anyone ever have this same issue? i got great help last time i posted on this forum! ill try get pics and videos. thanks.

Check your heater hoses and the piece it connects to that the temp Sensor is in. That peice it plastic and can crack. They make metals ones if that is the problem. Only other coolant thing that can leak in the passenger side (assuming left hand drive) is the turbo lines.

I bet you its that plastic piece that broke that hes talking about. One friend recently replaced it on his 1.8 with the metal coolant flange.
