if its like the c7, fronts are easy. just unscrew fender liner and push them out.

for the rears, it's a PITA. drive side, i could push out with hand under bumper (no need to loosen any wheel liner). passenger side i could not so i figured out that if i took the blunt handle end of the screw driver and push it hard on the rear-aspect of the reflector, it would push in and the front part would pop out and allow me to remove it.

I'm new to this forum, but just swapped the side markers on my S7. Flyfishing described it perfectly. Do the fronts first, and once you get into the inner part of the fender, the key is pushing the front edge of the reflector out and then the back half slides forward and out. The front being the side closest to the front bumper. I was able to get both rears out the same way. It was a tight squeeze to get my hand in the passenger side to remove the rear marker, but I managed.

You can do the fronts as described. However I just used a very small screwdriver with a cloth and popped them out from the outside on my 16'a7. There was no way I could get my hand on the inside rears.... And I'm not a huge guy either but it was quick just take your time they came right out.

I used a butter knife with no serrations on my 2012 A7. Pried in the center at the bottom. The fronts have a clip, the rears have a tab that doesn't move. Use the same knife to pry on the rubber bulb holder. It's indexed and pops straight off - no twisting.

Take a look at your new housings to see where the clip is.
