OEM BBS Speedline 8.5x19 (refurbished)

Hi all,

I have for trade/sale a set of 5 super rare OEM BBS Audi Speedline wheels in 8.5x19 with an offset of 48. The wheels have a bolt pattern of 5x112 and a center bore of 66.6mm. These were available as an option only in combination with the S-line package on C6 Audi A6 models, are very rare, and not often offered for trade/sale. I acquired this set through a friend of mine just about 4 months ago in a very rough condition with curb rash and scratches to every single wheel. It was my goal to restore these wheels to its former glory and make them look like brand new so no expenses were spared.

As soon as I had the wheels in my hands I split them, following BBS specifications to ensure the barrels do not bend during this procedure. Afterwards the centers where sandblasted and powder coated in a flat gunmetal, to match the OEM Audi center caps, by Powder Coating, INC. in Mukilteo, WA. The barrels and lips where also sandblasted, with a mirror polish finish on the lips, by Show Quality Metal Finishing, INC. in SeaTec, WA. BBS specifications require the usage on new Titanium bolts for reassembly which were acquired from Black Forest Industries, the only supplier for these in the United States. The entire restoring process took over 2 months as the bolts where on backorder and all the other vendors had extended lead times.

Once complete a brand new set of 235/35 R19 tires was fitted on the wheels at a shop in Renton, WA that is specialized in the mounting and balancing of luxury wheel/tire sets. I have only 4 tires mounted and kept the spare wheels blank but all 5 wheels checked out perfectly round on the balancer with and without tires. Since then I have put about 1500 miles on the combo, mainly during my trip down to San Diego where the car and wheels are currently located. There is no damage, scratches, or whatsoever on these wheels. They are just like new and probably better as were when they left the factory may years ago.

The reason I am trading/selling these is that I am playing around with the idea exchanging my B6 S4 within the next couple of months for a different vehicle or even a motorcycle as I do not drive a lot (to the carwash once a week and back). At this point I feel it would be a shame to leave a dealer that has no idea how rare the wheel combo is, with them which is why I am looking to hand these off to another enthusiast who appreciates them for what they are. If you look these wheels up on the World Wide Web you will see them fitted on many different vehicles and find them to be a classic design that never fails.

As I stated above this set is currently mounted on an 2004 Audi S4 so please be aware that I will need at least 18 inch wheels with an offset of around 40 to fit. I would prefer OEM wheels with decent tires and of course would love a set of OEM S4 wheels but please let me know what you have. As for a straight sale I am looking for $2,000, plus shipping, with the understanding of the possible purchaser that I would need some additional time to source some new wheels since this is currently the only set I have.
