MMI stopped recognizing SAT/XM radio all together

Hi all-
2010 Audi A6 Avant Prestige. Has satellite radio and active subscription with XM, but all of the sudden the MMI no longer shows XM as an available radio band - just AM and FM. Have pulled battery, done the MMI reset, etc, no change. Has anyone else had this issue?

That's interesting.... My '08 did that this morning, but turning the radio off then back on got it back.

Maybe the sirius module died.

Do you have the component rack in the rear of the vehicle behind a panel? Avants are known for having a leaky rear window washer that drops fluid on the component rack casuing issues.

I also have a 2010 prestige and it doesn't show a Sirius option just am and fm but I keep getting things in the mail to renew the subscription?

I have a 2010 A6 Premium Plug trim, Sirius wasn't showing up like the other folks.

I updated the MMI and poof, it showed up. Updating the MMI isn't for the faint of heart, you can screw it up. The dealer will do it I hear, but it costs a few hundred.

One issue: didn't have my notification settings turned on at all so just thought I never got a response. Whoops. On too many forums, used to getting a damn email for everything.
Also, the Siruis came back magically! ...for two weeks. And then it is gone again. I need to dig out the module and just see if it is apparent, but it's a 3rd/4th car and relegated to dog car duty. Where would the Sirius module be in a 2010 avant?
