    Rundown:

-I park my car each night aired up, by the time I go out in the morning it's aired out. (So obviously a leak somewhere).

-I start my car and the compressors kick on as normal, they run for about 8-10 min then come off and my controller blinks red on the two up arrows.

-shut the car off, start over

-I do this about 4 times before it actually starts to air up.

-once it's aired up elevel works as it should, car airs up and down normally if I drive it within a handful of hours after the last drive.

Yes I know I need to take care of the leak but there's obviously something more going on here. I'm new to air suspension so please go easy on me. Need some ideas on what could be going on here.

    Thanks

Fix the leaks for sure.. your problem with the arrows blinking red is a sensor issue..
Check to see if they fall in the spec range,i had this happen on my lex and i had to reposition the sensors a tad and it that fixed the problem.

Not to hijack this thread but I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. I have the elevel system and it seems to drain the battery on my A4. Someone I work with has the same system on a different vehicle (classic car) and he has to disconnect the battery or else it drains his car battery too after about a week of not driving the vehicle. We both think it has to do with it being connected to the ignition wire. Can anyone recommend what to do to avoid this?

Funny you bump my old thread...I have the same problem.

My elevel is connected to my radio in my fuse box. It just has to be connected to something that is powered on when the key is turned. I turn my radio off every time I get out of the car and that seems to have it fixed. Maybe I'm imagining it, but it's done the trick.

Well I didn't want to create a new thread, and I tried searching and nothing came up so I went with option #2 and hi-jacked this one. I've been told that the ECU needs to have constant power to keep the solenoids closed when the vehicle is off or else it will open the valves and cause the vehicle to drop. I don't know how true that is or how it makes sense and I'm wondering if that is why the battery keeps draining. I still want to keep the ride height on start setting and I didn't know if just switching to any switched power source would change the issue I'm having. Sounds like you just took the wire that is supposed to go to the ignition and tied it into a different wire and now everything is fine. I followed the instructions exactly as they had stated and ever since putting in the elevel system I have had to replace batteries because they got drained to often. For the record I don't drive my car that often as it is but before air, my battery never died.

I'd rather have my car drop overnight than dead batteries. If that's the case it's a design flaw. I have 2 buddies with elevel and they've had no problems, I need to look in to it more tbh

Hey man , deff fix the leaks but also I'm almost 100% the red controller is because of your pressure sensor. Try replacing it
