It's a 2010 Audi A4 Automatic 69,*** miles
In November 2015 the car failed the oil consumption test and now have new pistons installed.
The car has been good ever since then until last Thursday I put silicone hose and air filter on the engine to try out. The next day the car started showing: esp fault, parking brake malfunction, and tpms malfunction. The car was driving fine and then it stalled out going through an intersection later in the day and wouldn't start back up. I read online that the usual cause of those codes is a bad brake switch, so I had that replaced and it still will not start.
I scanned the car with two different scanners. One scanner said NO DTC. The snap-on scanner would communicate with the air bags and brake system but wouldn't show any engine fault codes. I was thinking that the ecu went bad, but someone said that possibly the body control module went bad.
I wanted to get feedback on this if any of you guys have any input??
