    You are correct, however the dust shields are not absolutely necessary. You can also use your standard dust shields, they will offer plenty protection if needed.

    Many aftermarket big brake kits will actually remove the dust shields during installation. You could purchase factory shields and still be into the big brake kit for less than ECS advertises for.

    yes the shields are not necessary but good to have right?
    If no shield, ECS is selling their 365mm porsche brake kit for $2350 brand new.

    In fact I really like the RS brakes and has been looking for a pair for a long time. But right now they either are out of stock or cost too much.
    I am happy to see you have a listing over here but the price doesn't seem too competitive.

    The Porsche calipers are designed for an suv that weighs nearly 5,000lbs and has rear Brembos to match. The RS calipers are pulled off of a B8 platform car. There's no way I would personally make a Porsche kit work on a car if there's a factory RS alternative that is a bolt on solution.
