My Overdue Introduction

Hey guys!

A couple weeks ago I finally ended my search for the RS4 of my dreams. After letting a one-owner, locally owned and dealer serviced car slip by I thought I'd never find an example so well taken care of that fit my budget and milage restrictions. Well, I stumbled upon Kohei's (AvusPDX) ad and lets just say I did everything I could to make sure I got the car. The mods he did were clean and fit the aggressiveness of the RS perfectly. I usually wouldn't jump on a modded car, but this one just spoke to me. I'd probably do similar mods down the line (but now I don't have to pay! ). A week later I flew out to Portland to see the beast in the flesh. Unlike my last experience with going out to see an out of state car, there were no surprises. Actually the car was cleaner than I had imagined.

Anyways, I'm coming from a B7 A4 which I spent the last few years building up. I got bored of the 2.0t for a few reasons, and when the rear coolant flange went I made the decision to start parting that car out and search for the next Audi. So yeah, that brings me to now. The new car is fucking blissful. The thing purrs and just begs to be opened up on the highway!

As for my future plans for the car, as of now I'm planning on keeping the car close to how it is. I just placed an order for JHM catless DP's and honestly that might be it for a good while. No tune in the foreseeable future and the rest of my money I'm saving for maintenance items. I want to focus on keeping the car running as it should rather than taking the route of my A4 and throwing money at countless little parts that didn't really do anything for performance or functional gains.

So here she is, finally got a chance to take some decent pictures. Work has been eating up my life these days.

Since you were already used to the B chassis, I think you already noticed after the first time you drove the car, that it's still the same car, but at the same time it's a completely different one.

Nice pickup man and congrats!!! These are such incredible cars. ^^Agree want to know what those tires are?? They look like my old favorite Eagle F1 All-Seasons but they dont make that nasty aggressive tread pattern anymore!! Also what size spacers??

Totally, my a4 had the recaros so Im even more used to the chassis. Its like my old car grew an extra set of balls.

Wheels are Work Emotion CR 19x10.5 et22. Lowered on Bilsteins PSS9 coils. Tires are Yokohama s-drive 275/30/19

Thanks, I see they're 5x114--any idea on the adaptors used? I assume no spacers w/ that offset?

Swivel bolts. You don't need adapters at that small difference.

I think they were actually ordered in the 5x112 bolt pattern. Standard lug nuts are used with a stud conversion

I'm so happy to see her go to another car enthusiast. First local buyer that was interested was an ex STI owner, didn't know shit about the car (this thing is super charged right!?) and he wanted me to wait until his car sold. Then I had a Seattle buyer that was very interested, drove up half way to check out the car, was going to go through PPI, then Bam, Ajacks came out of no where and swooped it. I was hesitant at first since he was pretty far away, and potentially losing a strong buyer from Seattle was risky.

Well, everything worked out and I'm confident that the car will be taken care of, enjoyed and most importantly, driven hard!

The RS4 felt like a wild short fling with a MILF that had a good share of drama, fun and titties in my face.

This community is definitely smaller but more tightly knit. The B8 side is huge, and I can barely keep up with new posts. Even in the same website (audizine), the air is different, and I feel much more passion on this side of the forum.
