Owned my car for about a year now and when it's gone a few days without running, sometimes I'd need to hold the key against start for up to 5 seconds or so before the car will turnover. Well today, I drove to work in the morning, got in it to leave and it decided to put up a big fight starting. It just refused to turn over with the key in start. Eventually I got it, and it's started fine twice since. I'm expecting it to be a faulty clutch switch or ignition cylinder. Iirc, there's two clutch switches, anyone know which would be the culprit here?
Also does anyone have experience with replacing an ignition cylinder? I assume the dealer needs to be involved, and I'm really hoping I can keep my existing keys.
