B6/B7 S4 owners - what have you done with your door blades??

    Gents

Hello from Scotland!! Looking for some help and advice please from fellow S4 owners across the water. I'm starting to modify my S4 bit by bit. Got a FI catback system and 19" Peelers fitted. Now looking to do something with the door blades. In the UK, they come from the factory black and I'm assuming this is the same in America/Canada. From what I can gather, my options of what to do with these black door blades are:

    1. Paint them.
    2. Wrap them.
    3. Fit carbon fibre ones.

Are there any other options and if possible, could you please post pictures of what you've done for some inspiration?

Any help, advice and company recommendations would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

    James

I might be wrong, but aren't UK/Euro doorblades black from the factory ,whatever the car's color is?

You're right jakeoboy67, they come from the factory black. I was assuming that was the same in the USA/Canada. Am I wrong? Assuming that they also came from the factory black made me think what have people across the water done to them hence the paint, wrap, carbon fibre or other options.

in USA/Canada, they come painted the same color as the car.
I've seen one B6 with the door blades wrapped in carbonfiber on the internet.

If you are not happy with the stock euro black, what are you interested in doing? As others have stated the NA version comes in the body color, which IMHO is an elegant under statement and would highly recommend.

I’ve had mine carbon fibre wrapped for the past 3 years and to match the hood, I was going to purchase the CF ones, but if I were you. Paint them. Seriously, they look so much better.

As stated in my OP, I was looking to see what my options are before deciding what way to go. Think they will be painted or wrapped.
