Lease exit or not?

I won't be getting anything for 12-22 months. I am going to try and save as much as I can. So, just driving my E36 and Tacoma truck.

I will prob miss the F80. But it's a matter of heart vs brain. I will take a $2400 hit on lease exit.

The longer you keep, the more you will pay and your M3 will be less in value as time goes by....just my 2 cents. 2nd option...see if anyone is willing to take over the payment so you won't get hit with the $2400.

this. if you have more than 3 months left, or for me i would say more than 6 months left... then why not. saves you money for your next whip.

He said already he started the lease assumption process. Also assuming a lease for a non-MD car is tough as they require you to pay taxes on total cost of the car and not just the leased portion.

I am just curious as to why he wants to get out of it and has been trying for sometime (see this a lot with f80 m3/m4s).
