I was expecting the Audiusa site to update today for the 2016 A6/S6 line, but nada. Anyone know when thats due to launch? A7/S7 already there.

Yep, but nothing on the Audi USA website, so I was figuring they were going to do some PR launch event or whatever.

No major changes for 2017 so no PR event, and the AudiUSA Configurator is always behind...2017's will probably all be sold before they update the website. LOL
If you are thinking US 2018 C8 model then yes there will likely be some fanfare.

Has it been confirmed with any certainty that 2018 brings the C8? I've seen both '18 and '19.

No confirmation. A6 will probably come first with S6 shortly after so S6 may be '18 or '19 in US anyway.
If you are looking for reliability and fewer issues it is usually better to get the last model year of an older generation than the first model year of the newer generation. Let them work out the bugs on the C8 for a couple years.

Is it normal to leave the shipping blocks in till the customer picks it up or do you take them out right away? That thing sits like a truck so it has to have the blocks still in place.

It's the new "off road" version of the S6.

I've had a 2017 new S6 for about 5 days now. Received it from Audi Henderson in Nevada. They are out there, but hard to find as many of them have been claimed.
