So my check engine light came on for the last time this past week on my b7 a4 I was told it was a low fuel pressure light.. Needs a fuel pump. At 220K I aint doing it. SO i am in the market for anew car.

    The question is which one?

IM looking at preowned ones.. Should I get the 2013 or 14 or 15 A4. I am reading threads about the oil consumption issue. Any issues affecting the 2013? Thanks much for all of your input.

All of the B8.5 model years are the same from a reliability standpoint, you'd be safe with any year. Just make sure you get one with HIDs and try to find a sport package or full S-line car if possible.

I just went through this and the sticky and Project quattro helped a lot.

My goal was getting a avant so i was stuck with 09-12 model years. If you do choose to get those years, be sure the car has <80k miles and no a tune to get the oil consumption issue fixed.

B8.5 model year 13-15 are all the same. Like Audi tradition, i believe all 2015 came with the s-line exterior package.
The minimum package you probably want to look for is the premium plus. Next step up would be the prestige, S-line then can be added to the prestige package. The sports package which includes seats and suspensions can be added to any package and this goes the same with the advanced key system. Sports seats are all leather while s-line can have alcantara inserts.

Well, at least you can't go wrong with any of the premium plus quattro B8.5.

A fuel pump for a B7 A4 costs $189. DIY or get an indy shop to do it for 1-2hrs labor.

But if you are simply looking for a reason to get a new car, 13-15 are all the same mechanically. I haven't heard of any 13+ A4s having oil consumption issues. Each year had minor trim differences with more stuff being added standard each year. Just get the newest, lowest mileage, most warrantied A4 you can afford.
