3.0T Intake install throws MIL - MAF

Anybody have issues installing aftermarket intakes on the 3.0T and throwing a MIL code after about 50 miles? It happened to me last month and I have been too busy to ask. Code had something to do with the MAF sensor, I need to check the specifics again.

I installed an Injen intake without the factory box.

The hose that normally clamps to the bottom of the intake box didn't seem to have any function but I was not able to figure out what its for? Additional air inlet?

I have never seen any error codes, but I left the stock air box in place. Good luck with the fix.

I've got that intake without the box and I got a filter for that hose that's on the bottom of the factory box
    No codes.

i've ran Injen both with and without airbox, no issues.
as for hose at the bottom, just get a vent air filter for it.

Thanks guys. I went back to stock and the code cleared itself. Good to know I shouldn't have had a light on with this intake. I will give it another go, maybe run the airbox this time.

I NEED the SC whine back :)

Just make sure you have the car locked with the hood up for at least 10 min before install (apparently that puts the ecu in off mode or whatever you wanna call it)
