2006 S4 grill swap/upgrade.

I want to do a grill swap to the RS honeycomb style. All I can find are OEM or grills that are $500 and up. I would also considering doing the S6 grill mod per Nicks Car Blog.

Has anyone swapped their B7 S4 grill to honeycomb style? Advice please!

Ya I'm interested in this too but I don't like the license plate blot out area. I want all honey comb style. Unfortunately I haven't seen any like that. I think the only way is to do the nick car blog rs6 grille mod

I did the swap myself, but it was a real pain. If you are going to diy, you should really buy an additional oem grille to hack up and swap in the rs6 style mesh. If you decide to go down that route, take your time to make the cuts, and use a really strong epoxy that is meant for plastics. If you want to purchase one, here is a website that sells them. Can't attest to how nice they are.
