    Hi Guys ,

I have a 2005 A6 that i acting really weird and really need some advice.

1st case If lights are on everything works as it suppose to no problem.
2nd case lights are off now this is where my problem begins.
-The lights on the shifter are lit but they are all the same tone of red ( I know that whatever is selected on the shifter suppose to lit more than the other ones for example if the car is in park P is lit harder than NRDS well mine is not)
-Soon as i go in D all the lights on the dash lit up and i cant use the tiptronic option.

Everything works correctly if the lights are on i only have this problem during the day when the lights are off.
I have no ideea how to add pictures..
Any help will be highly appreciated

    Thank you,
    Alex

All gear indicator lights on dash lit at the same time indicates the transmission is going into limp mode. You most definately have an electrical gremlin. Do you have or have access to VAGCOM? A complete scan of the car may shed some light as to what is happening.

The car drives and shifts with no hesitation. The only thing vagcom tells me is the tiptronic switch implausible signal fault. The thing that's annoying is that as soon as I turn the lights on the fault clears and the tiptronic works fine.. Is there anything else that I can scan to see for errors?? This thing is getting annoying.
