What's up all. So now that I have my B8.5 S4 I am in need of a commuter vehicle. I am on the hunt for a 2003 ish Jetta wagon must be TDI and a 5 speed. Willing to drive for it if it's not too too far. No, I don't want one with 200K miles on it, I would prefer one with lower miles that I don't have to work on right away. PM or post up what you have and where you are. Thanks!

Good choice for a commuter. Like you i also have a B8.5 S4, and ended up getting a 03 golf tdi as a commuter. Words of advice is the ALH motors seem to be the best. Check out tdiclub.com they have a classified section. timing belt service is the major maintenance to look for. otherwise they are great cars cant beat that +40mpg

Thanks! I am on the TDI forum as well. I did find a 2005 there, I'm waiting to hear back from the guy if its available or not. I love my 16 S4, it sucks the gas down tho hence the commuter car now. LOL. I'm not too worried if I have to do a timing belt, I don't believe it's that difficult on the TDI. Sounds like the worst part of it is timing the pump. My hope is that someone that has been on the fence of selling theirs will chime in.
