    MMI aftermarked Bluetooth and A2DP.

I want to add the bluetooth function to my 06' B7, something similar to the FISCON unit that you can seamlessly integrate with the MMI system (https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/audi/...plus-audi-seat). However I don't believe that this has A2DP as an option. I was wondering if anyone has found a unit that can be installed clean and hidden that also allows you to stream bluetooth audio through the MMI interface?

Whatever you do don't buy an interface for MMI, that's a fibre-optic MOST based system which is NOT what's fitted to the B7.

You need something labelled as compatible with the RNS-E, which is what the B7 has (yes I know it says MMI at startup, but that's due to an idiotic decision by a demented marketing person at Audi AG and has led to countless owners spending $$$ on MMI interfaces or map updates that are no use to them).

One option would be to fit something that gives you an Aux input and then plug a tune2Air WMA3000B into the Aux input.

The best OEM way is to swap the RNS-E to a 2010+ version and replace the glovebox CD changer with a CAN version of AMI, then connect a tune2Air WMA3000A A2DP interface to the AMI.

I just hardwired a BT receiver to an ignition power source and tapped into the AUX Input on the back of the RNSE. There's no functionality in the RNSE, but the sound comes through great.

Plenty found searching on this topic...
