Power windows don't work, but locks and sunroof does

So is there a module that controls windows only? I'm not hearing any clicking or any response when clicking the button.

Also I tried connecting to central convenience I. Vcds but got no response, but central locks did login. Are these two different things?

Check fuses first. I can't remember if there's a windows specific fuse, but start there usually.
Then; does turning the key in the drivers door lock open/ close windows?
Do the windows open from any of their switches?
Does the switch light up when you turn the headlights on? If not look for broken wires in the door jamb. If so, check for broken wires anyway. The locks module controls the windows though, there is no convenience module. If you can't talk to the module there's a good chances it has DMHO intrusion.
If you CAN talk to the module I'd say you're looking at either a broken wire (likely) or bad window switch. The circuit for ALL the windows runs through the drivers door and switch. You could remove the switch and 'jump' power between a couple pins at the big connector and see if any windows move up/ down. If so then I'd say bad switch.

Thanks man. You're making it sound like broken wire is not uncommon, any specific areas that they tend to break in?

Right in the door jamb inside the rubber boot almost always.

Sounds like a fuse to me, just based on the info from your first post.

Is there a fuse that's specific to power windows? I think i checked every fuse there is and all seemed to check out but I couldn't spot one on the table that was specific to power windows.

I'm not sure about every year/model but I don't think there is generally a fuse that is 'only' power windows. They usually have a couple things on each circuit, but totally possible that something else you haven;t noticed is also not working.
if you have VCDS and can comm with the central locks module then just go into measuring blocks and see if the clicks on the window buttons are registering with the module.
Check the module for errors etc..
You didn't say whether the switches work at the other doors, or if the drivers door key when held will roll the windows up/down, of if the switch lighting is working or not..it's all really just guessing without more info.

Hmm, that's cool, didn't know you could do that, and yes the windows do roll up and down with the key, and the passenger window rolls down with the button but no others do.

    All keys are illuminated.
