CEL with fault p0235 and p0068 related to heat?

I just got EPL stage 2 flash two weeks ago. Today I was on a trip from SF back to LA. When I was about that the middle of the trip, the outside temp got around 104F (shows 115 on the dash). I found that my AC gradually loses coldness so I parked at a gas station and started driving again after 15 mins and the CEL appeared (during this time the AC problem was gone). I pulled over and checked with Carista it showed fault code p0235 and p0068.

I didn't get a screenshot but someone else had this problem before so I borrow his: (credit to Jone2012s4, but I couldn't get much information from his thread)

My car is a 2014 s5 with awe s-flo intake, EPL stage 2 91 octane ecu tune+TCU tune w/CTS sc pulley, no aftermarket cooling system yet.
When the CEL was on, coolant level was a little above minimum and oil temp was normal.

Just curious, what do you think is the cause of this problem? Is it just heat or does it indicate I have something about to fail?

Make sure you have the latest version of flash from epl. The previous version was giving people those codes and they updated it to take care of the issue. I think the newest one came out 7/7 so when you flashed you might have had the version that was giving those codes.

I actually flashed on 7/19. Unless Chris made a mistake, it shouldn't be the problem.

Yeah, I had this same issue and I too have an AWE S-Flo intake. I too was getting it and only in hot conditions like you experienced. There was an update to the file for both Stage 1 and 2 I think and that appears to have fixed the issue, but don't know if the codes/checks were just defeated or if an actual resolution was found for why the codes were tripping in the first place for some people and not others. Either way, email Tony and let him know about it, so he can continue to look into the issue if not fully resolved for everyone. Also, supposedly these codes also trip when there's some kind of vacuum leak and the ECU cannot reach desired boost. Supposedly one person found a slight leak on one of the hoses for the solenoids under the back supercharger cover (the one with the Audi symbol). Maybe check that too just to be sure, but I doubt it's that.

Thanks for your reply! I have contacted EPL and will check for any leak as well.

I contacted them but didn't get much response. I did some research and came up with a conclusion: the codes don't matter
So I just live with it, I did nothing afterwards except clearing the codes. However, I think it's related to heat because after that I have never driven my car in a weather like that anymore, and the codes never came back.
